lag spike problems
i installed guild wars on my computer 4 days ago and since then, i get lag spikes every 1-2 minutes and it lasts just 1-2 seconds. it doesnt affect me when im browsing the internet and it isnt too bad when i am playing guild wars. the problem is when i am playing games like CS:S or BF2 where in just a split second, i could die. i know for a fact it is not my computer because i just got this computer and it could handle all my games, including guild wars, on my old computer which was much worse. here are my specs anyways:
400 GB HD 3 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS video card my internet provider is Earthlink i havent made any changes to my computer except for installing guild wars. if no1 has any ideas im going to just uninstall guild wars and see if that is the problem...i hope its not guild wars...i like playing it too much |
